January 26, 2019. Vasiliy Anikin and Julia Lezhnina, the senior research fellows from the Centre for Stratification Studies, participated in the plenary session. There presentations were about social structure of and perceived role of state in post-transition Russia.

On January 30, 2019, The All-Russian meeting on the implementation in the Russian regions the pilot projects aimed at increasing income of the country’s population and decreasing poverty level was held in Nizhny Novgorod

Lilia Ovcharova, Director of the Institute for Social Policy, took part in the meeting and made a presentation titled ‘How to increase the real income of citizens: some suggestions’.
