Education and socialization of children with migration status
In 2019 Institute for Education and Institute for Social Policy will start the implementation of the “Education and Socialization of Children with Migration Status” project. The regional branch of UNICEF in Europe and Central Asia requested the project.
On December 13, 2018, the Institute for Social Policy held a scientific seminar on the topic “Digital public space and new ways of disseminating information”
The seminar moderated by Alexander Lutsenko (LIERR, EHESS) heard a presentation by Dr. Dominique Cardon, Professor of sociology at the Institute Sciences Po (Paris), Director of the Laboratory Médialab.

On November27, 2018 was held a session of the regular seminar "Migration studies" together with School+ organized by the Higher School of Economics Faculty of World Economy and International Affairs and the Institute of Social Policy. Thom Loyd, Georgetown University, presented his recent research "From Local Connections to Global Networks: African students in the Soviet Union, Europe, and the World, 1960-1976".

Mikkel Rytter, Associate Professor in the Department of Anthropology (Aarhus University, Denmark) presented her recent research “The Power of Love: Visibility and Mobility among Sufi Muslims at the Margins of the Danish Welfare State”.
On October 2, 2018, the Institute for Social Policy held a scientific seminar on the topic “Healthy lifestyle in old age: barriers and opportunities”
The seminar moderated by Oksana Sinyavskaya, deputy director of the Institute, heard a presentation by Dr. Elena Selezneva, Senior Research Fellow of the Center for Comprehensive Social Policy Studies.
On September 20, Daniel Kashnitsky spoke as a panelist at the expert section "Moral Aspects and Ethics of Legal Regulation of International Migration" as a part of the conference "Migration and International Law"
The conference was organized by the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, and the International Committee of the Red Cross. The event was held in Moscow on September 19-21, 2018.
