Ekaterina Demintseva led a student expedition to Kamchatka region

Ekaterina Demintseva and Nikita Mkrtchyan (Institute of Demography, HSE) conducted a student expedition "The New Migration Reality of the Kamchatka region: Issues of Identity, Problems of Adaptation and Employment of Migrants" as part of the "Rediscovering Russia " project. During the expedition, expert interviews were conducted with representatives of the administration of the Kamchatka region, heads of diasporas and religious leaders, as well as more than 30 in-depth interviews with labor migrants from Central Asia
