Olga Voron and Elena Gorina Speak at the International FAO Webinar "Impact of COVID-19 and Social Protection: What Measures Work?"
On July 8, 2020, the International Webinar "Impact of COVID-19 and social protection: What measures work?" organized by FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia heard to ISP experts Olga Voron and Elena Gorina.
Representatives of FAO, UNICEF, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Albania, Romania, Serbia and Russia took part in the discussion of social protection measures against COVID-19, which have been intensified or strengthened in the last few months in the countries of the region.
Olga Voron and Elena Gorina presented the relevant experience of the Russian Federation in the field of social protection against the effects of COVID-19 at the federal and regional level.
The participants focused on issues related to access to social protection for rural populations and possible ways and practices to address emerging challenges.
