Svetlana Mareeva, Yulia Lezhnina and Vasily Anikin win the 2019 Moscow Government Award for Young Scientists

Svetlana Mareeva, Yulia Lezhnina and Vasily Anikin, employees of the Center for Stratification Studies, are honored with the 2019 Moscow  Government Award for Young Scientists in the "Social Sciences" nomination. The victory was awarded to the scientific team for a significant contribution to research of social structure and social inequality in modern Russian society.

The team has been working together for over 15 years.

The prize was awarded for a series of publications (chapters in monographs, articles in Russian and foreign journals) on the problems of the social structure and social stratification of modern Russia, monetary and non-monetary inequalities, their perception by the population, the role of social policy as an instrument for reducing them. 

The award ceremony will took place in the State Kremlin Palace on February 7, 2020, as a part of Russian Science Day.
