On June 19-21, 2019, the Institute of Social Policy the National Research University Higher School of Economics, the Centre for Urban Anthropology at KB Strelka, and Oxfam in Russia hosted a conference on “Urban inequalities vs. Urban inclusion: migration, identity and public space”.
The conference focused on ethnographic analysis to address various aspects of urban inequality, such as unemployment, informal employment, homelessness, access to essential services, intolerance, conflict, digital divide.
