Ekaterina Demintseva and Dmitriy Oparin participated at the 51st ASEEES (Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies) conference in San Francisco, 23-26 November, 2019.

Ekaterina Demintseva made a presentation "Emigration of Highly Qualified Professionals from Russia in the 2010s: Why Are They Leaving Russia Today?” at the panel “New Trends of Post-Soviet Migration”. Dmitriy Oparin made a presentation “New Leadership, Old Ritual: Possession and Exorcism in the Russian Muslim Migration Context” at the panel “The ‘Official’ and the ‘Everyday’: Variety of Muslim Beliefs, Practices and Discourses in Russia”.

Екатерина Деминцева выступила с докладом “Emigration of Highly Qualified Professionals from Russia in the 2010s: Why Are They Leaving Russia Today?” (Эмиграция высококвалифицированных специалистов из России в 2010-е: почему они уезжают из России сейчас?) в рамках панели “New Trends of Post-Soviet Migration” (Новые направления пост-советской миграции).
