The team of Centre for Regional Programmes of Social and Cultural Development held a workshop in Kazan

On August 20, 2019, the one-day workshop held by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan was devoted to "Modern Strategies for Cultural Policy and their Impact on the Socio-economic Development of Regions". The workshop was assured by the team the Centre for Regional Programmes of Social and Cultural Development of the Institute for Social Policy.

The seminar discussed different issues, namely, assessing cultural potential, basis for forming regional cultural frameworks, heard Russian and international cases and best practices showing the positive impact of encouraging culture and tourism on the socio-economic development of the territory. The seminar was held on the occasion of the Board of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan examining the strategy of cultural development of the Republic.
