Lilia Ovcharova, HSE Vice-Rector, Director of the Institute for Social Policy, took part in the meeting organized by Maksim Topilin, Minister of Labor of the Russian Federation

The meeting discussed the results of the first stage of the pilot projects implementation. These projects are aimed at reaching by 2024 the national goals of socio-economic development, namely to increase citizens’ real income and to reduce the poverty by half. The participants also discussed the objectives for the second stage and the development of the standard recommendations for accepting regional programs aimed at reducing the share of the population with below-minimal income.

The meeting was held in the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, on May 29, 2019.
