Pavel Shulgin and Olga Shtele took part in the UNESCO Forum on Intercultural Dialogue held in Kazan
On September 4-7, 2018, a UNESCO Forum on Intercultural Dialog was held in Kazan. The forum united the scientists and public figures from several dozens of countries. The major topic of the forum was the protection of the world heritage as an important part of the intercultural communication.
On a plenary part of the forum, Pavel Shulgin, director of Centre for Regional Programmes of Social and Cultural Development, and Olga Shtele, leading expert of the same centre, presented a joint report “Modern strategical directions in protection and exploitation of cultural heritage.”
Pavel Shulgin also acted as a moderator of the section “Protection of cultural heritage within the context of intercultural dialogue.”
Their participation in the forum was a part of the project aimed to work out the recommendations for the cultural policy development.
