Consortium

The Consortium of Child Well-Being Researchers brings together scientists and experts from the Timchenko Foundation, HSE University, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Presidential Academy (RANEPA) and Moscow State Pedagogical University.

The staff of the Centre for Well-being and Time Use Research looks at children's well-being from the point of view of their behavior, specifically, what children spend their time on, how much time they devote to certain activities, with whom they spend their day, online or in person, whether they like the activities they do. This allows us not only to build a structure of Russian children's time budget, but also to draw conclusions about children's subjective well-being both from the children themselves and from the point of view of their parents, as well as to make cross-country comparisons of children's time use in the context of their well-being.

Based on qualitative and quantitative research designs, researchers develop recommendations for social policies aimed at improving children's quality of life and developing their potential. In addition, experts regularly share their findings and discuss topical issues with colleagues at thematic roundtables and conferences.
